The offense has led the way but the Panthers defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.71 goals per game. Aaron Ebklad and MacKenzie Weegar have combined for 4.2 defensive point shares and 77 blocked shots while Radko Gudas and Gustav Forsling have combined for 1.8 defensive point shares and 63 blocked shots to give the Panthers two great defensive pairings. In addition, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is having a great season in the net with a .920 save percentage and a 2.41 goals-against average on 452 shots.
Blues offense has been greatThe Blues have looked great this season with an offense that is scoring 3.25 goals per game leading the way. Brandon Saad has 10 goals and three assists while Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich have combined for 18 goals and 23 assists to lead the top line but the rest of the forward unit has also found the back of the net this season. Ivan Barbashev, David Perron, and Vladimir Tarasenko have combined for 22 goals and 30 assists while defensemen Justin Faulk and Torey Krug have added seven goals and 13 assists from the point to open up the Blues offense.
