The Wyoming Cowboys will be going for their second consecutive win when they face the Northern Illinois Huskies on Saturday afternoon. The Cowboys are coming off a 19-16 win over Montana State. The Huskies are coming off a 22-21 win over Georgia Tech.


Cowboys Going For First Road Win

The Cowboys avoided an upset at the hands of Montana State in their first game. They will try to work out the kinks and put on a better performance when they face the Huskies on Saturday afternoon.




Wyoming scored 19 points in their first game. They threw for 196 yards and rushed for 151 yards in the game.

Sean Chambers completed 57.7 percent of their passes for 196 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed for 51 yards in the win. Xazavian Valladay led the team with 77 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Ayden Eberhardt had four receptions for 71 yards.

Wyoming did a better job on the defensive end, giving up 16 points. They will need a similar effort if they want to win this game. 

Huskies Going For Second Consecutive Win

The Huskies got their season off to a good start with a road win over Georgia Tech. With the team back on their home turf, they will try to keep the momentum going with a win over the Cowboys, which will give them their second win in a row.




Northern Illinois scored 22 points in their first game. They threw for 136 yards and rushed for 165 yards in the win.

Rocky Lombardi (former Michigan State QB) completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns. Harrison Waylee led the team with 144 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Tyrice Richie had two receptions for 64 yards.

Northern Illinois also played well defensively, giving up 21 points in the win. They will need to keep up the defensive effort if they want to win this game.
