The Georgia State Panthers will host the Charlotte 49ers as they look for their first win of the season after starting with two consecutive defeats. The 49ers are 2-0 to start.

The 49ers have made a stellar start to the new season, winning two successive games, including a 38-10 victory against Gardner-Webb on Saturday night. They had won 31-28 against Duke in the opener.
Chris Reynolds had 10 of 17 passing for 103 yards. He beat Matt Johnson in career passing yards, who had 5,405 yards. Reynolds now has 5,469 career passing yards.
As reported by AP: Reynolds scored on a 37-yard run early on and Charlotte never trailed. Short TD runs by Shadrick Byrd and Calvin Camp plus Reynolds' 11-yard TD pass to Jairus Mack made it 28-10 at halftime. ChaVon McEachern added a 13-yard score and Jonathan Cruz a field goal to complete Charlotte's scoring.
