The North Carolina Tar Heels are on the road Saturday visiting Tallahassee, Florida, and Doak Campbell Stadium to play the Florida State Seminoles. North Carolina is ranked No.5 in the nation and has started the season 3-0. The Tar Heels defeated Virginia Tech 56-45 last Saturday behind quarterback Sam Howell, who passed for 257 yards and three touchdowns. North Carolina was also successful on the ground as Michael Carter rushed for 214 yards and a pair of TDs.

Florida State has had a terrible start to the season at 1-3 following its 42-26 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. In the loss, FSU quarterback Jordan Travis passed for 204 yards with one touchdown but was also intercepted once. Travis was the leading rusher for the Seminoles in the loss with 96 yards and one touchdown on the ground but injured his hand and had to leave the game. Tamorrion Terry caught nine passes for 146 yards and one touchdown, but the Seminoles defense gave up 35 first-half points and could not rally after the break.

(Injury updates and line movements were updated on Saturday Morning.)

Florida State has one of the worst defenses in the country

TheFlorida StateDefense is allowing 33.5 points per game, and overall the Seminoles are 60th in the nation on defense. Florida State allows an average of 194.3 yards on the ground and an average of 259.8 yards per game through the air. Linebacker Amari Gainer has 19 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles for a team-high 32. Defensive tackles Tru Thompson and Marvin Wilson each have one sack to lead Florida State, which only has three sacks as a team.

Florida State's offense can only be called mediocre. The Seminoles average 169.0 yards per game on the ground and just 224.3 yards per game through the air. Florida State is scoring just 22.5 points per game and is being outscored by an average of 11.0 points per game. Quarterback Jordan Travis has passed for 426 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Travis is the leading rusher for the Seminoles as well, with 235 yards on the ground. Tamorrion Terry has 21 receptions for 275 yards to lead FSU receivers.

The biggest possible injury for FSU is quarterback Jordan Travis who has a hand injury and is questionable for Saturday's game. Offensive linemen Andrew Boselli and Darius Washington are questionable for Saturday's game, and that could hurt the pass protection for Florida State. Defensive back Travis Joy is also questionable, as is defensive back Hamsah Nasirildeen.

Questionable: OL Andrew Boselli, DB Travis Jay, WR D.J. Matthews, DB Hamsah Nasirilideen, QB Chubba Purdy, OL Darius Washington
