The St. Louis BattleHawks bounced back from the first defeat of the season with two home victories over the New York Guardians and Seattle Dragons. They are favorites to beat the DC Defenders, who are coming home from a two-game road trip and a pair of disappointing losses.

Although the visitors were a better rival in the second half, the BattleHawks managed to secure a 23-17 victory.
