This Saturday, there will be a college football matchup between two Big 12 teams as the Texas Longhorns travel to McLane Stadium to take on the Baylor Bears. Texas enters this game with a 4-3 record after losing to Oklahoma State at home by eight points in its last game while Baylor enters this game with a 6-1 record after beating BYU at home by 14 points in its last game. This game will be taking place at 12:00 P.M. EST.

Texas' Defense Looks To Get Back On Track

The Texas Longhorns enter this game in a bit of a slump as they have lost each of their last two games including an eight-point home loss against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in their last game. In that game, Texas' defense struggled as it allowed 32 points while letting the opposition record 25 first downs. However, that lackluster defensive performance was somewhat expected since the Longhorns are allowing 29.6 points per game. Now, Texas' defense will be looking to get back on track with another conference game up next on Saturday.

Leading the Longhorns offensively is sophomore running back Bijan Robinson who has looked amazing this season as he has recorded 924 rushing yards and ten rushing touchdowns. In addition, he has recorded 207 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns as he has showcased his dual-threat ability on a regular basis.

Following the loss to Oklahoma State, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian criticized his team's passive mindset down the stretch.

Baylor Looks To Remain Undefeated At Home

The Baylor Bears have looked like an extremely solid college football team this season as they have won six of their first seven games including a 14-point home victory against the BYU Cougars in their last game. In that game, Baylor's offense was productive as it scored 38 points while recording 534 yards. However, that stellar offensive performance was somewhat expected since the Bears are averaging 38.3 points per game. Now, Baylor will be looking for another offensive outburst with a home game up next. Luckily, the Bears are undefeated this season at McLane Stadium as they have looked extremely comfortable at home up to this point.

Leading the Bears offensively is junior quarterback Gerry Bohanon who has looked great this season as he has recorded 1,563 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns. In addition, he has recorded 141 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns as he has been heavily involved in the passing game and the running game

Leading up to this game, Baylor head coach Dave Aranda discussed how nice it was to have some time off last week.

"To have some time off was well needed with our staff and players who have invested in all of this. It's nice to have a bit of a breather, and it's good to get back into it. We've got ourselves a great opponent at the end of the week, and I'm looking forward to that challenge."
